Dry Bones, Live!

What a tremendous service we had at the UPC of Weches! Not only was there a great move of God that changed lives as we stepped into His presence, but we also had a memorable baby dedication and baptism.

To kick off the morning, we had a wonderful Sunday school message, delivered by Bro. Charles Wells. What he spoke was just in line for what God was fixing to do! He spoke about the water in the desert which talked about Philip and the Eunuch in Acts 8. Philip was sent by God to go to a desert place where he found one man desperate for a change. Bro. Wells explained it beautifully through his testimony of when he got baptized of just how desperate someone can get to have the Lord make a change in their life. As we look at Acts 8:36, we see the desperation that the eunuch had to be baptized.

"And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?"

When Brother Wells was explaining his testimony, he mentioned that the biggest part that proved God was real was the miracle after he got baptised. During that time, he had just went through a wreck that caused him to have a cast from knee to toe. That day, through his desperation to get baptized, they grabbed a trash bag to wrap the cast. When he got submerged under the water, and came up out of the water, he told us "There was about a gallon of water in that bag." When he went to change and take the bag off, he saw that it was completely dry "as paper." That goes to show that in your desperation, God can do a miracle!

Followed by the amazing Sunday school message, we had a great guest speaker, Bro. Josh Hannah. The Lord had given Bro. Hannah a vision throughout the week of our church being filled with people that he did not know. He was seeking the Lord for what he should speak to the people, and God said "This is the word for my people. Dry Bones, live." When he said those words, people started to pray and God moved in their midst. Several received a breakthrough and truly the dry bones began to live! It transitioned into a break out of Spirit, where we completely surrendered ourselves to God and could leave everything at his feet.

To end this amazing service, we got to see one of our dear saints make a life-changing decision to be baptized in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ! What amazing things God is doing in the UPC of Weches.

Come join us next Sunday for another great move of God!
