A Declaration of New Things
Rev. Jaxon Page
"There is a call in this end time hour. The Lord is speaking to the East of Houston County, the West of Houston County, the North of Houston County, and he is speaking to the South. Everything that the enemy has got trapped, you've got to give it up! It is a representation of the totality that the Lord is trying to do right here in UPC Weches."
Isaiah 42:9
Key Points:
Isaiah 42 - We find where the Lord began to speak through Isaiah to his people.
The prophetic word of God never dies. If the Lord said it then it's still so, and if the Lord said it thousands of years ago then it can still be applied to your life.
Isaiah 42:9
Isaiah 43 - Everything that Isaiah is speaking is the declaration of the new things of the Lord.
Verse 1 - He would be get the attention of his people.
He would begin to talk about what appears to be two different people, but he was not. He was talking about the same person. In the Old Testament there was a man named Jacob that was a deceiver, cunning, liar, and did whatever it took to get his way. He began to have an encounter with an angel of the Almighty God. Even Jacob in his sin sick was got a hold of an encounter with God. From that night forward Jacob was not his name, but it was changed to Israel.
When the Lord addresses him as Jacob, He was referring to what he used to be and to what he became.
It doesn't matter where you've come from or what you've done, there is an encounter with the God that would cause a name change in your life.
"I have called thee by thy name..." He is calling you by name. Redemption is calling your name.
Isaiah 43:2 - He begins to stand and declare these new things.
He didn't say "If you pass through the waters," and "If you go through the waters." He said "When you pass", He will be with you, and overcome.
Isaiah 43:3-4 - He still loves you no matter how far you have been from God. He will give whatever it takes to have a relationship with you.
The call to relationship! It is not the will of God that you don't have a relationship with him during the week and try to get back to him on Sunday. It is an everyday walk.
Isaiah 43:5-6
No matter how old you are you are still a son and daughter.
Isaiah 43:7-8
Verse 8 - A declaration of new things
Blind people of the gospel can walk in this room and walk out with the revelation of Jesus Christ, and deaf people that never heard the word are going to hear.
Verse 9 - Nations will be touched by this Gospel
Matthew 24
When they taste of real Holiness is like and when they taste what real power of the Holy Ghost is like, they will not be able to deny it's truth.
Verse 10
God and Jesus are one. Jesus was fully God and fully man.
Verse 12 - the only person that can deliver you out of His hand is you.
Verse 13 - Everything that was done in this revival, who can undo it? The Lord is already working and there is nobody that can deliver it out of His hand.
Verse 14 - If He took down their enemies, what makes you think He hasn't taken care of our enemies.
Exodus talks about the story of Moses and God delivering the Israelites from the Egyptians through the Red Sea. God makes ways where there seems to be no way.
Just because God makes a way and makes provision, does not mean that the enemy is not going to follow you in it.
It is time to dance, shout, and lift your voice, because God is working on your behalf.
Isaiah 42:9
"I'm here to declare some things before they are ever to come to pass."
Isaiah 43:18-19
