When A Window From Heaven Isn't Enough
"I have found that those with the least faith always has the most to say."
2 Kings 6:24-25
Key Points:
2 Kings 7:1-9, 19-20
With this many people in this small of a place the food supply drains very quickly.
When the livestock is at the highest demand and lowest supply, Elisha made a declaration.
The first step is that the Man of God never questioned what God wanted to do.
Question: What do you do when your circumstances are so bad that even a promise from God sounds impossible?
When you put words to your doubt, you just increased your doubt. When you put words to your faith, you increase your faith.
Because of the right hand mans doubt, Elisha said, "You will see of it, but not eat of it."
On the flip side of the situation, we see four lepers outside the gates of the city who had a worse situation. Not only were they starving, but they had a disease that was said to be incurable.
Instead of doubting, they got up and went to a camp that was empty. They began to eat and loot in the left food behind food. After, they began to think about the city they left that was full of hunger, telling the king of what had happened.
God can make a window from Heaven to pour out blessings. Just believe!
