You Are God's Masterpiece!
"You Are Made On Purpose For A Purpose"
We had such a great time at Weches UPC's very first VBS to this new generation! From the amazing puppet shows, to the impactful lessons taught, we witnessed numerous lives changed. What used to be just two services of fun at our different themed kids services has now expanded to four days of fun and fellowship!
The first night we had incredible lessons on repentance and letting Jesus create in us a clean heart.
The second night we had a great lesson on baptism, and how that is when Jesus puts his signature on hearts.
The third night was another incredible sermon that the kids got to take with them. The team taught those impactful lessons through relating their lives to different people in the Bible such as Ester and Hur.
Finally, we ended VBS with a great choir song in our Sunday service, and Pastor Wells ended the lessons with the thought "The straw that broke the camel's back." This message was about taking the anxiety, depression, daily fights and putting it back on the devil.
While all of the kids got the chance to have life changing experiences, we had a very special class for the parents. Thank you to our painting instructor, Lisa Henderson with the Painted Canvas.
In one of stations, we had an amazing rock wall and some very fun bouncy houses. Thank you to Tristan Shaw and Bobby and Kelly Cole.
We personally want to thank all the volunteers and donations that made this event possible. Thank you to Lakeside Grocery for donating pizza and investing in our children on friday night. On Saturday night, we got to enjoy amazing Mcdonalds nuggets, donated by Rickey and Janet Gates.
